Romantik Alpenhotel Waxenstein Grainau, Grainau

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious with lovely views even from the North side where I stayed. The service was attentive and welcoming, making us feel truly taken care of. The location was perfect for relaxing, and the dining experience offered fresh and delightful choices. The facilities were outstanding, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel offers very clean and spacious rooms which include half board and are conveniently located right next to the lift. However, sound privacy might be an issue. The service is very helpful and responsive, especially for families with pets, although the staff's English proficiency could be improved. The location is perfect for exploring Grainau, with easy access to the train from Munich and attractions like Zugspitze and Lake Eibsee. The dining experience is enjoyable, offering a varied and tasty traditional German breakfast. Facilities are in good condition.

I had an amazing stay at the hotel. The rooms were excellent, with a balcony, quiet, next to the lift, and boasting fantastic views of the mountains. They were well furnished, very large, and filled with natural light. The only downside was not having tea and coffee facilities in the room.
